Watson: “Who is this fellow you’re supposed to meet?”

Sherlock: “Mycroft simply said that somebody from the government wanted to offer their congratulations. It’s probably some visiting parliamentary nabob seeking reelection.”

Mycroft: “I know you hate these things, Sherlock, but you are quite the hero.”

Sherlock: “Oh, please, Mycroft, please.”

Mycroft: “Well, do try to be civil. It took some doing to arrange this reception here. The members weren’t too keen on it. After all, it’s the first time a woman’s been allowed in the place.”

Sherlock: “A woman?”

Watson [voiceover]: “Even Holmes was taken aback. Who could have guessed that Her Majesty was his biggest fan?”
